Wow, I'd bet our coaching staff would be none too happy about having to travel all the way to Fairfield, but I would be okay with it if it means a TV game.

Fairfield is another Jesuit school, so there is that. Then again, we just played then in the CIT or CBI or EIEIO thing we played in last year. I'd rather play a midwestern school or a school in an area that this new staff recruits heavily (Texas, Chicago, Wisconsin), but I guess we can't be too picky.

As a redbird fan, I really hope we could pull some strings and get a matchup with Nevada, but I think when you get to a certain point in RPI (which we are) they try to keep them to regional matchups to limit travel. Of course, they could always fold the return into the challenge in 2012-13.

I would be just as happy with a game against Loyola.

Here are the predictions I put together. I would be really surprised if the CAA gets 6 of the TV games. I think at most one conference has had 5 games on TV. In the past it used to be the thing that featured the Valley, but now I think it has shifted to the CAA

When you have 6 in the top 8 teams either on the home or away side, you are going get most of the TV games.

A fan on the CAA board had mentioned he had 2 sources mention that he heard VCU would be travelling to WSU. As well some shocker fans had stated they heard on the "U" about the matchup. I didn't hear it on the "U" but it now appears that was just 1 persons guess as to who would get matched up. So now it appears that was all just speculation and nothing more.

That is a good thing. I'm still hoping for George Mason.
