Rice transferring?

Where have you heard he was transferring to? And I beg to differ. How is Odum not a BCS talent? 6'4 point who is a great passer, defender, and leader. Also can score it when he wants to but is very unselfish. Him Mcdermott and Rice will all be great players for sure.

I agree that Odum is not a BcS talent. McDermott is easy to explain on why he is where he is.

The difference between the players in the so called high majors and our league has less to do with talent and more to with size, strength, and quickness.

Talent is shooting, dribbling, passing, defending, and ball smarts.

Points 2 and 3 of the above is not my dumb axx talking. Most college coaches would agree. Feel free to yell at me.

I agree that Odum is not a BcS talent. McDermott is easy to explain on why he is where he is.

Odum is a nice player. But I haven't been overly impressed by anything I've seen out of him.

Yeah, it cracks me up to see all the thirdhand rumors being discussed. I've heard third-hand rumors about just about every coach in this league.

They're talking about MVC basketball....at about the 15:30 mark, a Drake fan calls in to talk about how much better Drake is playing the last month or so. Perrault and his co-host both agree and talk about the good young talent that Phelps has recruited. When MP starts talking about Rice, he says something like "I really hope he sticks around, because I keep hearing rumors". So, it's not like he came out and said "Rice is transferring" or some b.s. like that.

Drake fans have been hearing rumors about Rice since he signed

"He's going to back out of his commitment and go to a prep school"

Toward the end of the first semester

"Did you hear, Rice didn't make grades, and will be inelegible second semester"

Now

"Rice is looking to transfer"

Maybe that kind of rumor always surrounds a BCS level player when they're at a "mid-major" school.

All signs are that Rice is very happy at Drake, likes his coaches, likes his teammates.Almost as importantly, his Mom is very happy with Drake. He's "The Man" at Drake, and would be for the next three years. Not sure why he'd want to transfer and have to fight for playing time.....after having to sit out a year. Besides, I don't know that he could remove that Drake tattoo that he has.

I will say the one thing JO is missing is a solid mid range jumper...And I don't think beatingrilLz biased sycamore hating opinion carries anything at all...in his opinion the second they sign wit da trees they go down a star rating
