there was 3 who thought that ISU would win, and 6 who didn't. That actually seems pretty optimistic. Better odds than what a normal 3-14 matchup gets.

I think it is games like this that'll make CBS regret how they are now spreading games out across four networks. In a normal year this would be the sort of game that would only be appearing in Indiana and upstate New York after about the under 12 media timeout in the first half when the Cuse have amassed an insurmountable lead. I say Cuse by 20 or so, I think that they could well win by a lot more if Boeheim keeps his foot on the pedal though, but he won't. It'll be an embarassing moment for the Valley, but hopefully those Valley teams still alive in the other three tourneys can do their part to make the league look good.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with the posts on Shockernet. I see a bunch of Shocker fans hoping the Trees win. I also see them not having much confidence in Indiana State's ability to win the game or even keep it close. That would pretty much sum up the expectations of 99 or so percent of the opinions of all basketball watching fans in America. It also sums up my opinion, I don't think Indiana State will win, I just hope they keep it close. Do I want them to win? Absolutely! Do I think they will win? No. That doesn't make me jealous, or hold out bitterness towards Indiana State. While I would love for Indiana State to win, I hold out litte hope, I will have Syracuse in my brackets, not because I want Syracuse to win, but because I'm putting my money on the teams I think will win.
