There have been several very good sports flicks mentioned here. But, in my opinion, the best sports film ever is "Hoosiers". The first time I saw it in a theater the audience cheered, booed, stood and clapped just like they were in the gym. It was unreal.

Hoosiers has to be the best. I have watched it several times. Gene Hackman and Dennis Hopper were great in the movie. A couple of others I thought were enjoyable movies were 'Radio' and 'The Air Uo There'. The 'Natural' was good as was the 'Field of Dreams'. A couple of others, just for fun, 'Happy Gilmore' was funny, and 'The Legend of Bagger Vance' with Will Smith was good.
