Who would be the 5 1st teamers?

4 seem obvious to me:
Weems
Odum
McDermot
Koch
The 5th would be from:
Ryan
Murray
Kyles
Carmichael
Echinique
Rice

Among the CU group, with Antoine Young being a senior I would think he would have a chance moreso than CU underclassmen. This would be especially true if he can have stretches like he's having in the CBI of 17 dimes and no turnovers in two games.

I'm going to go with Stutz

After last nights Washington State game, Stutz doesn't seem to far fetched of a choice.

There is another who is the first PG in something like 20 years to lead the league in assists and finish in the top 10 (7th) in scoring. His assist to TO average is much better than Odum's. And, he is going to be a senior. There isn't anything Odum did this year that will garner placing him above Young in any POY voting (other than by ISU media). I doubt Young finishes top 5 - Odum certainly won't.

I'm as big of a Creighton homer as anyone, but I have no problem stating that Odum is the best returning PG in the league. I don't think he is preseason POY and I don't think he was the best freshman, but I do think he's the best returning PG.

There are certainly games where I would not put AY as even the fourth or fifth best PG in the league, but his level of play in the CBI has been spectacular. It will remain to be seen if he - and the team - can play offensively at the level they have throughout the CBI and do it on the road. AY has the physical ability and appears to be developing the mental ability. He has a chance to have a really special year next year. Time will tell.
