Conference Realignment - where will we be in 5 yrs?

On Conference USA, I think it got public a little to soon for the conferences liking. I will say this much, I will be shocked if Missou is the only major college in this state switching conferences in the next year to 18 months.

Please stop with this. Why do I get the feeling you were the twitter guy behind the CUSA hysteria?

Missouri has more than one major college? Do you think the UMKC Roos are going to make a leap from the Summit?

From the very outset, you've wanted this to be true. I think you wanted it so much, that you convinced yourself that it was true before even talking the time to really evaluate it.

With the financial mess that MSU is currently in, I don't see them going anywhere in the next 12 months, let alone moving up a level in CFB where they will even have greater operating expenses.

I'll also admit than when I first read you comment, I thought you were talking about SLU, not MSU...

I don't know for sure but I think we will know soon enough who is right. SLU has no options what so ever. Missouri State seems to have options at least. I'm not an economist so all of the economic arguments that people have made don't really register with me. And the Valley is a good place to be if we are in fact stuck so that isn't bad.
