I think Pafan's attempt to objectively grade the non con schedules is a good effort. It's got to be looked at ultimately as subjective though. There are just too many variables and unknowns involved in a pre season grading of sos.

You're missing my point glm. When people are matter of the fact about things, and those things don't pan out, people will let them know about it. Fans of my team have endured the same thing with their faulty predictions.

However, when a guy says something is happening and takes over a message board for 2 days saying so, and it doesn't happen, that person loses tons of credibility. grillz has done this. Looking at your join date, you haven't been here long enough to experience his posts firsthand so you're a bit out of your league on this one.

Regarding looking at my join date and old posts - there's this thing called looking back at old posts. It's remarkably easy to do. And that particular thread was of interest to myself as a Bears fan so I did actually read that thread regarding MSU and CUSA. :Bam:

I still don't happen to agree with drilling people based on their old posts. And I'd feel the same about the fans of any of the MVC teams. I've made at least a couple of bonehead posts on forums like this over the years but I don't remember fellow members picking apart my later ones based on that? So I think you are the one "missing the point".

No, but when some people make bonehead posts, and then some more, and then some more, all the really testing the strength of the term "bonehead" he certainly deserves to have his credibility taken down a notch...or 10. Grillz posts to hear himself type. Not constructively contribute. I dont believe the same could've been said for you over any of your posts

Northern Iowa will play at St. Mary's as a part of the ESPN 24-hour hoops marathon. It will be on ESPN at 1 a.m. central time on November 15th.

Solid schedule. Looks Ben is willing to challenge the young guys as the SMC game came about after the Brazil trip. The Gaels will return the trip in 2012-13. Still looking for one home game.

Average RPI of the D-I teams: 114.4, even if you give Loras the lowest RPI it only goes to 135

And of the 5 teams over 100, 3 are from BCS conferences and 1 is C-USA.

I am very happy with UNI's schedule. A solid mix of BCS schools (home, away, neutral), and a great mix of good to very good mid-major teams. (Colorado St, No Col, Milwaukee, ODU, St Marys, plus a Bracketbuster)
