Ticket prices for the game at IBA have people in Wichita very unhappy. Taken from SN:

$152.00 for Courtside Seating

$67.00 for lower bowl Sections 102, 103, 104, 115, 116 & 117 and upper bowl rows A & B (front two rows) in section 214-217

$47.00 for lower bowl Section 101, 105-114, 118-121, 124-126 and upper bowl rows C-J (rows 3 through 10) in Section 214-217

$32.00 for remaining rows in Section 213 through 218

$17.00 for all seats in Sections 206-212 & 219-226

Does seem a little steep for a game against UAB. Tickets for the Creighton-Iowa game this year and the Creighton-Iowa St game last year, on a neutral court, aren't/weren't this expensive. Heck, I took a roundtrip charter bus trip to Des Moines that included dinner at a DSM restaurant, lower bowl game ticket and unlimited adult beverages for $75.

The economy in Wichita is going gangbusters so everyone will be able to pay the piper, go to IBA
holler  repeatedly,
and  like its 1987.

Well, ... relatively gangbusters, anyway.

Exactly the point - if UE got a H&H with UAB for those ticket prices, and did not include the game in the season ticket package, it would be the poorest attended game of the season.

A day before the season starts.

And on the topic of schedules, here's some free ESPN press for UNI...

I dunno why it takes us so long to release schedules. It seems as if we are routinely the last team to release. I dunno if it's because were constantly holding out the hope for home and home BCS games or what, but it's kinda annoying.

Pretty sad that the Valley schedule could be released before ours does.

Our PR/AD departments have taken a turn it seems ever since our former AD Schaus left.

I think you have nobody to blame but the Valley lowlifes that rent their arenas. :D :) ;) 8-) :P :(
There are three rules that I live by, never get less than 12 hours sleep, never gamble with a guy who has the same first name as a city and never get involved with a chick with a tattoo of a dagger on her body. Stick to that and everything else is gravy!
