Lots of Drake alums in the Chicago area, not so sure about UNI

Not a ton. I believe it's UNI's 5th largest alumni base outside of Waterloo/Cedar Falls

Thank you for sharing that. Exciting times for Murray State...they will be such a great addition to the MVC and make the league a multiple bid conference in most seasons. I do agree with with Panther that the Racers, UIC, and Arlington will be next choices. The latter two bring risks for sure, but the potential is there. A big "IF', but if they both pan out the MVC could be quite formidable. They already will be with the adds of Belmont and Murray.

This has planned for a while now. Even before the MVC possibility came to fruition. We are doing an overhaul of all the facilities and each season we release a press release for that sports season. If we had built the arena right the first time, and not to cater to boat shows and community events, this would already be done.

Not sure what it will be after renovations but we are sitting at 8,500 right now. Supposedly after the renovations we will be adding capacity but I haven't seen any numbers on just how many seats.

Little Rock to the OVC is official. Not sure what that does for either side other than a lifeboat for each of them.

I've always liked the South Dakota schools to the MVC - is it on the radar there?
