To be fair if you get me in a room with everyone from the MVC deciding expansion I will be the smartest guy in the room. You will be too.

Illinois State has the most arrogant fan base in the MVC and I'm not sure why either, considering that they've never won anything or been to the tournament in 20 years.

MVC Champs last season. Also #1 in all-time winning percentage for current Valley teams.

An ISU fan came and sat behind me (in Bradley's section) on Saturday. Had to be the obnoxious fan I've ever met.....not only did he trash about my Salukis, he started in on Bradley, too. He was "not so politely" told to move or else. He moved....by the end of the game, he could barely stand. He seemed more concerned about getting drunk than watching basketball.

Later that night, I talked to a couple of ISU fans at my hotel that were extremely nice people....complimented my Salukis and had nothing but good things to say about SIU.

A couple of things I've learned over the years: don't judge an entire fan base by one or two poor sports and, in general, stay away from drunks.

Seems I could have expressed myself better. I have no problem with Redbird fans as a whole. I was merely stating that this one guy fits in well with shocker fan base.

Lol I've been to a lot of MVC games in my lifetime and ILST is the only fanbase that consistently has obnoxious fans. There are plenty of good Redbird fans, but I've had more than my fair share of issues with the bad ones.

Illinois State fans are no where near as bad as Wichita fans (thank God), but quite a few of them can still be pretty classless at times.
