Great game. Jones hits a clutch 3 to finish of Altman and the Ducks. Great way to finish your last home game Jays.

Great game at the Q! over 12K showed up. Hopefully the Jays can finish the Ducks off on Wed. I don't see them beating us twice but you never know on their home court. The Jays shot the ball really well and if we just hit our FT it really wouldn't have been as close as it was.

On another note.....why did the CBI give the Ducks 2 home games. I don't see them coming anywhere near the attendance the Jays pulled in. Are there other factors involved I don't know about?

I think it is called, "Taking care of the BCS schools." Its probably an attempt to lure other BCS teams into participating...

It was a great game to watch and probably the most fun I've had at a Creighton game all year. The crowd was electric and the signs in the arena were funny. I was glad that Altman was treated very well, he was applauded when he entered the arena, there was a loud ovation when he was announced as teh Ducks coach and fans clapped when he left.

On the flipside, Doc Sadler was in the building and was loudly booed when his mug was shown on the big screen. :D

It was a fun game and I'm glad I went. If Creighton continues to play as well as they have in the CBI, they will be a very tough team next year. It almost makes you think that these are completely different guys playing now as compared to in January and February.

I know from comments that they had to promise Dana and Greg the two teams would not meet, except in the championship. I would also bet they had to guarantee Oregon that if it made the championship it would get the last two games at home.

I don't know if these guys can go on the road and shoot/play anywhere near as good as they have been so far in the CBI. Their road performances have not been stellar, to say the least. Their last game away from home (St. Louis), was just not a very good effort. Although they have certainly hit a new level against some pretty good teams, I am stil skeptical. Plus, that stupid court is sure to throw off their depth perception. I see us dropping the first one by double digits, but making a really interesting game of the second one.

I think it's cause they are BCS. The CBI doesn't make any money based on attendance, they get paid no matter how many people show up.
