They lost to Butler at home by 4. Didn't they go to the NCAA final game?
2 years ago they lost at Chapel Hill by 18
They beat WSU at Roberts and lost at CKA in OT last year could have ended it by a missed free throw
IU at Assembly Hall is a question mark. Last time they beat the Aces, It was at the buzzer.

I wish I gambled on things I dont control but a 100 points is awful interesting...

You make the same point but miss it. You all thought Bouchie was going to be a big part of your front court along with Haarsma, neither of whom graduated, likewise Johnson, and with Hopf uncertain only your rose colored glasses and false hopes could lead you to bet the Aces will beat the Shockers this year at CKA. But thats why you are an Aces fan. But if WuDrWu gives you 100 points you should consider it.

Bouchie left the team before WSU entered Roberts Stadium. Haarsma scored 17 points in first game 4 at CKA and fouled out in both. He had 7 rebounds in both games Johnson never entered as a conference player in an Aces uniform. If Hopf isn't ready to go, all reports is that he is, than our recruits in Peeler and Harris are ready and able to go. I don't think I have purple glasses on but you may have the blinders you wish to look thru. After a OOC schedule that should rank in the top 75 at least we will be ready to be on the road at CKA.

Well, I'm glad you like your teams roster and far be it for me to try to give you some perspective. If the facts of your teams final standings over the last many years, its losing record against WSU over the last several years of WSU rebuilding, etc. gives you confidence I'm good with that. We'll let the teams and their respective upcoming season outcome speak as to who is being realistic. Good luck getting out of the play-in round this year! Really. Because the MVC doesn't need EU dragging its basketball rpi down into the dirt anymore.

In regards to MSU, who knows if a big season would garner Zo offers already; but he's established a solid young coaching staff, so you deal with it when and if it happens. I think the 4 seniors starting is a bit misleading in that the one non senior,Weems, is the best player, and that Creekmore will split time and perhaps even be supplanted by Patterson . Also, frosh Nathan Scheer is gonna play as much as most of the starters , and Pickens who started double digit games last year, will return next year off of a medical redshirt.

Other frosh are gonna get significant minutes off the bench this year, so I think we'll have a core of 7-8 players with starting experience and/or significant minutes returning in 2011. Zo and staff also believe they are on the verge of completing one of the best recruiting hauls for MSU in sometime. Given they need at least 5 additions they'll need to add numbers for sure, and so far that total only includes 1 name, albeit a very good one in Christian Kirk.

Anyway, the point being is I don't think Zo looks at 2011 as going to be a rebuilding year after a one year spike.

3 things in life that are certain. Death, taxes and Evansville, barring substantial, numerous and violent injuries to several other Valley team rosters, will finish the conference season in last place.

Man, like anyone else outside of Evansville, I think the Aces will once again suck. And I think they will suck bad. That said, 110 points over four games? Wow, tempting! If you bump it to 115, I'll take that action! I can't believe that there hasn't been an Evansville fan with big enough grapes to take your original offer of 100.

That's a lot of points.

What am I thinking, Wichita State is a home and home so it's five games. Still, all Evansville has to do is not average 20 point losses, that should be easy.

No offence but you may want to rethink your post, they have only finished in last place 3 times since joining in 1994-1995. They didn't even play in the play-in round until 2002. Granted they have been pretty bad lately but every team has down years, eventually, they will come out of it. Do you rememebr Wichita State in the 90s? Look at how good your team is now.
