UNI at ODU

I wouldnt read too terribly much into this game because im not sure exactly how good odu is at this point. That said, the margin of victory was very impressive. Very comfortable win, which is really impressive considering our youth and that ot was our first game on the road at a very tough place.

For someone who has a mini-meltdown anytime someone says something the least bit critical about UNI, I don't understand why you choose now to sandbag.

Any road win is a good win. A roadie at an arena where visitor wins are tough to come by is a really good win. If you wish to poo-poo it, that is fine, but don't bitch the next time somebody isn't complimentary.

I don't think his comments were sandbagging at all? All he said was "he didn't know how good odu is at this point". He went on to say the margin of victory was impressive, etc, etc.

I am with ValleyChamp on the fact that we don't know how good ODU really is, but I for one am extremely impressed with our victory yesterday. We went on the road to a traditionally strong team and won. This was with starting 2 true freshmen, and only having 1 senior on the roster. Granted the season is only 1 game old, but this is arguably the best win in the conference so far. We will see what this team is really made of when they go to Saint Mary's and play on Tuesday morning.

I like how the season has started though!

This guy sure likes the Valley. All of the games he mentioned were MVC ones.
