If they end up losing (probably will) in one sense the points are meaningless. But it's always interesting to me to see how our Valley stars perform against the stars of the other conferences particularly the Power conferences.

I know his points weren't meaningless. The remark was more in line with taking an absolute stance on a silly argument. Colt has a reputation, deserved or not, of inflating his stats in garbage time in losing efforts. That reputation is only part true. Colt does score a lot of garbage points but he also scores throughout the game. I just found it odd that an Evansville fan would attempt to demonstrate how important Colt's scoring is by highlighting the points Colt scored in a particular game that the Aces eventually..........lost. While his points were important, selecting a game in which the Aces lost to demonstrate that position is kind of ironic.

Colt Ryan meet Jake Odom. Apparently neither one of you guys are anything special. Best transfer to Wichita if you want any respect. To bad the people who vote on the All Conference team don't have the half vast knowledge that some of the posters on this board do.

Go Aces

That would be an unbelievable score line after the way we've looked in the first six games. Not that I'm saying its not possible because just about anything can happen on any given night, but we haven't been able to sustain focus for 40 minutes against anyone yet this year. Now we get a superior team, talent and athlectic wish, angry after a close loss in a big game in which the media criticized the mental makeup after that finish. I'd be shocked if they don't come out trying to end this one early.

UNC 98
UE 70

And that's only if their walk on's get a least 3 minutes of PT

I am not going to say we are going to win this game because I highly doubt we do but I surely think we can take advantage of a weakness for UNC at guard. I don't think Colt is going to get dominated in this game, he is going to get his looks hope he takes them.

The Vegas books have typically made UNC a 24 point favorite.

It's not going to be that close, unless NC has 5 walk ons they can play.

That was embarrassing. Evansville does not belong on the floor with North Carolina. I wish this wasn't on national TV...bad for the conference.

Lets see. If your 30 points down at half time, that would be on track to lose by 60. I bet it won't be by more than 50.

Way to represent, UE!

Ryan with 4 points, all free throws. I'm sure that'll change in the meaningless second half..

What do you want me to say? That they will get it back to 10 points! Nobody is that stupid.

About what was expected. UE does not have a playmaking point guard and their inside presence is freshmen. Peeler doesn't count as he is not D-I material. UNC has more talent and size from top to bottom. UE will fare better in the Valley and will beat teams who will be pissed.
