1. Creighton --- pre-season hype forces them to start MVC play slow but they end up wrapping up the regular season with 2 games left. (NCAA SEED=6)
2. Wichita State --- Cleanthony Early, Fred VanVleet, and many newcomers will help Wichita State compete in the Valley. Ehimen Orupke becomes a presence down low. (NCAA SEED=8)
3. Northern Iowa -- Seth Tuttle and the young team get key non-conference wins but cannot put enough wins in conference play to win the Regular Season titles. (NCAA SEED=11) **(MVC Conference Tournament Champs)**
4. Illinois State --- Other than Jackie Carmichael and maybe a few others; still a young team. They start MVC play off good but falter down the stretch. (NIT SEED = 1); **(On the Bubble)**
5. Evansville -- Colt Ryan helps Evansville compete early on but one person cannot win the regular season himself; Evansville is above .500 in conference play and wins key non-conference games. (NIT SEED=5)
6. Southern Illinois --- Barry Hinson leads the Saluki's to their first ever game where the Saluki's score more than 50. (CBI)
7. Indiana State -- the Thursday Night club continues; Greg Lansing becomes on the hot seat in 2014. (CBI)
8. Bradley -- Keno Ford's coaching helps Bradley with a young team. (CBI)
9. Drake --- Mark Phelp's fired after the season due to only 4 conference wins. (No-Post Season)
10. Missery State -- After a bad season-ending for Paul Lusk, they aren't able to compete with such a young team. (No-Post Seson)
