Uh, no.

Assuming a bb win 2 wins in st Louis, a 5 loss CU/WSU team would finish with an RPI around 25-30. Might be good enough to get an at-large.

Yes, need to win 2 in STL, but they'd have a shot. I wouldn't count on it though

Pay attention to the Mountain West. They now have 6 teams inside the RPI Top 50.

You know what that means?

They're going to give each other 10 RPI Top 50 games in the next 2 months.

This is pretty much the 2006 MVC blueprint.

5 Valley teams in Lunardi's S-Curve all in the top 84. Not saying its anything resembling likely, but it is possible to get 4....

Creighton
Wichita State
Indiana State
Illinois State
UNI

Illinois State in the 70s and UNI at 84. Those are not impossible hills to climb if you can get two wins against the top 2...

Exactly how much of a bump do you expect those two wins to provide?

I think IlSU and UNI will need a lot more than that.

UNI and Illinois State could both get into the 40s if everything broke just right. I didn't say it was likely, just possible.

Seriously?!? ISUr would have to probably go at least 13-5 in conference to even get a sniff of an at large; not to mention of those 13 wins, two of would have to be against WSU and Creighton. Given that we're already 0-3, it's highly unlikely. I really don't see an at large on the horizon and it speaks volumes about Lunardi's "expertise' to even consider us as a last 4 out.

Lunardi didn't do his homework on this bracketology. No way should ISUB be behind ISUR (maybe he got them confused). He also has Ole Miss as a last 4 in ahead of ISUB.

How many more losses is it going to take to rid some Panther fans from their UNI at-large shtick?
