Make them agree to a certain financial commitment, add baseball, move games back to municipal. Who cares if they suck, so has Loyola for God knows how long but nobody blinks an eye at them. Somebody needs to take an azz kicking in the league might as well be the new guy. Also KC or Tulsa is as close to Wichita as your going to get and Des Moines, Wichita, Springfield are all short drives to KC.

This may have already been posted here somewhere, but Omaha is building a new arena... http://www.omaha.com/article/20130315/MAVS/130319472

It is billed as a hockey arena, but will also be home to the basketball and volleyball teams.....
The new arena will provide an on-campus home for the hockey team and also eventually be the home court for UNO men's and women's basketball and the volleyball team.

We are trying to set a record for most arenas per capita  :Bam:

No there isn't but I was referring to the poster using market as a positive. I agree that I wouldn't want any Detroit area team but I was pointing out that if your going Detroit area I think Oakland brings more to the table than Detroit.

If they went with 12 how about:

Loyola to help appease Bradley/ISUr

Belmont for quality basketball and closer to Evansville/ISUb

UMKC close to Wichita/Des Moines/Springfield

I assumed this would be viewed in a positive manner by bluejays. Wouldn't this help with scheduling the Quest or have the Mavs already moved out of there?

No doubt. It just seems like we have an announcement for another arena/stadium monthly anymore. Two baseball stadiums. Three basketball arenas. It is getting a little silly.

Gotta love reading comprehension up in Omaha.

To answer the question, I would want a team that can benefit the conference the most and isn't just a space taker like say an Evansville.

The Dakotas would NOT be good. ORU is kinda meh to me.

Honestly, I don't have a clear answer now, but the options are pretty limited for what I'd personally want.

Space taker? I thought the Aces nickname was Shox- beater!

Every game counts. Just beat the "space-taker" and win the conference title.
