I agree. Marshall and WSU have not proven a thing over the years. This one is Indiana State's or UNI's to win. Missouri State is probably chomping at the bit too because, well, they went 7-11 in the Valley last year and played "close" with WSU in the Valley Tournament.

What's the point of this Rox? No one is putting WSU down. I don't see any MSU, UNI, or ISUb fans touting their team over the Shox this year? I haven't heard a single MSU fan on here or our message board saying we are going to take the title this year. Just that we'll be much improved.

And MSU fans were proud of their very young team for keeping it fairly close in 2 of the 3 head to head games with a very good Shox team - can't you see that's a compliment to your team? Why turn that into a sarcastic putdown?

Indiana State most definitely has a shot at the title. I can agree with that for sure. It just seems Bearz has always had a reputation for trying to constantly undercut WSU in as many ways as possible, even if it was as subtle as the post I responded to.

Anyone that picks ISU to win the conference I completely understand and actually I'm surprised they aren't getting more love. If Stockton doesn't walk out of bounds and WSU doesn't get past Gonzaga, I wonder if ISU wouldn't be favored to win the league?

ISUb probably had the second best stretch of any Valley team last year, second only to WSU's post season run. Possibly third behind WSU's nonconference run.

They were awesome at one point last year. The utter collapse at the end of the season is the only thing that really worries me about them.

Here's a pretty good article on Lusk and this years Bears team. He (Lusk) says all the right things and its been reported that he works harder than any coach we've ever had. But this is the year he needs to get it done. Anything less than 5th place is a total failure IMO. And I expect better than that with this roster.

You can say most of the same things about Geno, although I would say that MSU has a little more talent returning from last year's team than Bradley.

Actually, since I posted that I inadvertently voted for the wrong team, that would subtract one vote from MSU and give one vote to BU. The way I see it, that means it's a tie.
