WSU vs. WKU at midnight (CDT)

Suck on this valley - a SELLOUT at midnight.

There are quite a few things to be impressed about with the Shockers right now, but I am not sure I can think of one MVC program that wouldn't sellout under the same circumstances..season opener off of a Final 4 run, Midnight Game on ESPN.

Sellout and beating WKU. We all expected that, now give us some actual insight in to how you perceived the performance of the team.

A midnight game on a Monday night is more of a tough sell than you might think, especially considering the fan demographic for WSU is very non-student. Getting 10k butts in seats was and is impressive. Shocker fans should be proud.

It's easy to say that about other programs. Guess we'll never know.

As a Shocker fan, the thing that sticks out is downgrade of toughness in the post. Kadeem is more talented then Carl was, but our physicality, toughness, and rebounding need to get much better to be on par with last year.

Which Valley program do you represent?

I think that's easier said than done. I guess the only way to prove otherwise is to get your team to a Final Four, get a midnight game on ESPN, and convince the probably 3000 fans that come to your games during normal hours to sell out the place at midnight.

Hard to imagine that, at one point, we were debating who would be a better Valley player...FVV or Kaza.
