I'm a fan of Valley teams, and I just think this bashing has pretty much ruined this forum, but it's whoever shouts the loudest and keeps on slamming on this forum.

Who I DON'T have an alliance to is any kind of "fans" that continually run down Valley programs. Pretty sure I'm not the only long-term MVC fan that feels this way, but I guess it's whatever works for you.
It's pretty sad this forum has been over run by these type of posters.

I am a Wichita State fan, not a Valley fan. Unlike previous years, we don't need the Valley to do well to make sure we get into the tournament. If we're on the bubble, it's our own fault for putting ourselves in that position (before the Final Four, I wouldn't say that was always the case.) We don't need to rely on the Valley to enhance our perception anymore, Wichita State has it's own perception.

With that said, I still cheer for Valley teams to do well (besides ISU) simply because I've interacted with their fans for the past 10 years (that makes me want to cheer for them) and those years of hoping the Valley does well for our own selfish reasons has ingrained a certain way of thinking in me that isn't just going to go away. At this point in time, I also think every Valley team has a likable coach who I expect to improve their teams (besides ISU, jury is still out on SWOMO) so I see no reason not to hope they do well.

As for ISU, every single bit of ISU "bashing" is entirely deserved and is brought upon themselves by their program, fans, coach and players (there are still a few good apples in the bunch, but I feel like they've been heavily overshadowed.) There's a reason Wichita State fans loved ISU and their fans pre-Muller, just as there's a reason we hate them during Muller.

I do have a problem with fans with nothing better to do them come onto MVC Fans and try to denigrate other Valley programs.

It's better to be on the top and fall, than standing at the foot of the mountain with all the women and children. But then again, you're a Bradley fan. And clearly you've had room to talk based on the last 5 years, unlike WSU. WSU fans definitely have no room to talk.
