Yes. Still totally disagree with you. Perhaps it's semantics only, but I'm not seeing a talent hole.

Did you notice that Utah's 7' guys were getting a lot of rebounds while WSU's only experienced post player was on the bench in foul trouble? Did you notice that the top rebounders for WSU were two 6'4" guys?

Carter had a great game when he was on the court, but he wasn't on the court very much. I don't have access to a box score that shows minutes, but Carter spent a lot of time sitting.

Morris had a decent game, but Utah's post players just flat dominated WSU's post players and the Shox were on the short end of the rebound battle.

Any other team in the conference loses WSU fans respond with: "Way to blow this opportunity for the conference!"

WSU loses WSU fans respond with "great game guys!"

Joking aside, it was a good game. Sometimes a loss can make a team better in the long run.

Even though I'm barely awake, I had to stay up for the end of that game. God, I'm so tired, I'm convinced I hallucinated and saw Wessel take over the overtime session. I need sleep.

Size might be an issue with this club in March. They'll have all season to try and catch up their big men to the rest of the team, but still. This might be the worst team of the last 3 years for WSU. Of course, the other 2 went 35-1 and reached a FInal Four, so the bar's rather astronomical.

If there was a way to import Wessel's hustle into a 6-10 guy, it'd be all over.

Also, mildly concerned about Wichita's chances at a top 2 seed. The rest of the teams on their non-con are tanking in a conspiracy to bring Wichita down :D

What a comeback with the 3's at the end of regulation. Even in a loss, a game like this will serve the Shox well going forward.

If your argument is that Utah had a better front court than us, then I agree. If you think WSU has a "recruiting hole" because we didn't land a projected NBA lottery pick 7-footer, 340+ other teams have this "hole" on their roster.

FVV is that dude...... not an F*** was given by him and when it was time he buried it. Shocks are gonna be so tough. Need to get the fouls figured out but that was the only thing Carter did wrong.

"That dude" probably should have "buried" that FT.

Man that sucks just not a good way to start the Connor Frankamp era with a loss though.

In the Frankamp era though, it's pretty smart to start piling up the quality losses so that he can fit right in.

Well at least "that dude" knows how to bury them against Illinois State. 5-0.

I can see why "that dude" is a sore subject with you though.
