Evansville up 63-40 with 3:26 left. To bad they don't have the Chicken deal anymore.

Drake beat Southern Illinois University 82-70. Bulldog led the entire game. Noah Thomas has a great scoring game since taking over the point. Fletcher was back and tough.

Nice win at home for Aces. Big factor was the pace of game. Walt stressed that with the kids. Up next...the Trees on Saturday. Let's go! Get on board. :Yea!:

Like I said...Drake is a top 5 team. They will be fine going into Arch Madness. Don't think they are in danger of playing on Thursday.

The Bradley offense is a complete and total trainwreck. With a capital T. Braves have a veteran roster and are leading the way to finish last in the Valley. Not exactly The Arrival.

Valpo has a couple nice young guards.

Looks like the Aces can beat anybody at home, but no one on the road. Need to win a few road games to finish in the top half of the league.

Isn't there a height requirement to be a basketball coach?

Winners tonight

MSU over Sycamores

Drake over SIU

Evansville over Loyola

Valpo over Bradley

Illinois State got dang lucky to beat UNI. If AJ Green makes those 3 FT's to send it to OT I think UNI wins it there. How does ILS foul a 3 point shooter up 3 with 6 seconds left?

UNI starting guard Miles Wentzien tore his ACL tonight.

He and Phyfe are out for the year. Tray Croft is redshirting. Biggie Goldman is out at least 3 weeks with a stress fracture and UNI only had 12 on scholarship this year.

This means UNI is only going to have 8 scholarship players for the foreseeable future.

Still played really well tonight.

Fazekas went down in the first half with an ankle injury and did not return to game action. When he returned for the second half he was in a walking boot. Hopefully that was just precautionary and he won't miss too much time. But we Crusader fans are a little concerned.
