Conference road games are tough to win! Winning teams should feel great tonight! Losing teams shouldn't panic!

This is the Bears team we've been waiting for. We're not going to always shoot like this but the defense has finally shown up. Our job to play spoiler this year and still nothing else but Bears fans have got to be excited.

Q: Who saw Barry flipping a 35-14 deficit into a 56-25 run?
A: Giacoletti did. He called it at half to Barry’s face!

Congrats to Bears fans! Can’t see the game (Comcast dvr freezing) but what a statement on national television. They’ll have to enlarge the Bear to reflect the exciting times ahead in Springfield.

Unless, of course, you're Illinois State and got dominated by the worst team in the conference! Maybe not panic, but they certainly aren't the "undisputed favorites" that some in BloNo thought they were prior to the start of this season.

Anyone that said ISU was the "undisputed favorites" prior to last night is a complete dope. Terrible loss though, Bradley played well, but ISU shouldn't be losing to them. Even on the road.

Just wow at last night

Valpo is missing Fazekas badly as ISUb cruises

Bears embarrass Loyola by 35

Illinois St looked drunk on defense with Bradley dropping 85

Drake pulls away from a shockingly competitive Evansville squad

SIU avoids disaster at home over UNI

It is only January 24th everyone. I wonder what this site will be saying February 24th. This is going to be one heck of a finish before a crazy Arch Madness in St. Louis

This was the Bradley team that won the tournament at Thanksgiving earlier this year, and may even be better. Wardle finally caved and changed the rotation of players. Luqman Lundy has taken all of Jayden Hodgeson's minutes. Lundy was a Juco PG who did not sniff the court last year, and looked like he was going to be a complete whiff for Bradley. How do you recruit a Juco who never see's the floor in 2 years. He's playing well right now.

Wardle also has benched 7'1 Freshman Ari Booya in favor of 6'8 senior Luuk Von Bree. Bradley has needed offense the past month and look at Luuk's line from last night, 21 points and 7 boards on 9-13 shooting including 3-4 from 3 in 27 minutes.

Darryl Brown has also caught fire the last 2 games as well going 4-6 from 3 against SIU and then 5-7 from 3 last night.

So much for separation week. Ooof. Definitely got the Hyde of the Jeckle and Hyde Ramblers last night. This team can be so frustrating; no Williamson hurts us bad on both ends of the floor but 35 points and 9 rebounds? That's a complete and utter breakdown.

MSU can play though, long and athletic. If they can continue making a decent amount of threes they'll spoil plenty of games, and should be the real deal when their transfers become available.

This year will continue to probably be up and down for the Bears, but you can see what Ford is trying to build. We're so thin on the bench now and our margin for error is small each night, but moving forward we will be a long athletic team that looks to be disruptive on defense nightly in the coming years. We have guys like Josh Hall [6'7 guard transfer from Nevada] a pair of 6'3 and 6'5 HS guards from Columbia Rock Bridge, a 6'6 uber athletic forward from home town Springfield all coming in , along with 6'9 Gaige Primm the #5 ranked juco and also transfer pg Tyrik Dixon[ Middle Tenn, St/ kinda of a misfit at only 6'1, but tough and experienced]. We lose good players in J.Dixon/Webster/Kreklow, but that's all.

A stunner for us last night was the play of 6'11 rs freshman Darrian Scott who has barely played to date but came in last night and really made things tough defensively inside on Krutwig and Loyola in general in his minutes.
