We will find out what the Bears are made of Sinday vs the Redbirds

Southern Illinois appears to have one of the toughest remaining schedules. In there last 5 games they will play 3 road games and the 2 home games they get will be against the current 1 and 2 seeds.

Drake has a favorable end of the year schedule and in my mind is a lock for top 4.

UNI still has 4 road games and only 3 home games.

MoSt still has to play IllSt twice and on the road against Loyola. Also playing @Evansville is always hard.

Valpo has Loyola at home and @Drake but 5 of their remaining 7 games are against the current bottom 5 teams. Probably one of the more favorable schedules.

Will be interesting to see how the seeds work out.

After today, Panthers very likely a play-in team at this point considering their remaining schedule.

I’d put UNI and UE and as very likely bottom 4.

I’d say Blue, SIU and BU will battle for that sixth spot.

Mo St, Valpo and Drake not out of the woods but in good shape.

Red and LU very likely top 6.

I think that SIU will likely avoid the play in game. If they can get to 8/9 wins, which they should its going to be hard for them to be in the play in game. Evansville, Drake, ISUR, Loyola are all winnable at home and @Evansville, @Valpo and @ISUB are winnable road games. 8 wins will probably do it for them. Here is why.

SIU will have the tie break over Bradley, ISUB, Evansville (with one win over them), UNI, Missouri State for sure based on head to heads and then NET. I think SIU ends up 8-10 and wins tie breaks over one or multiple of those teams and avoids Thursday. Hard for me to imagine SIU not winning 3 more... But who knows, Barry is our coach, if anyone can do it, he can.

I don't think any one game in the Valley will tell you anything about what anyone is made of. Nobody is good enough to perform with any consistency. When Drake played Illinois State last week, I thought the Redbirds couldn't lose another game. I was wrong. Loyola looked like a top 25 team at least when they played Drake this week, but it seems sometimes they shoot 7% from 3 point range instead of 70%.

Best game of the year for our freshman Henry alot of potential with this kid! Braves put up 96! Brown still rollin. Best game so far a total blowout over the Sycs.
