We owe the MVC a tournament win... and soon... And until we get it our debt is not repaid and we are not and should not be considered on equal footing with our peers.They could have had Ja Morant instead they got a glorified NAIA school. The decision to take us over Murray State might end up being the decision that kills the MVC. I'm so embarrassed ashamed sad and disgusted right now. I can't BELIEVE we had the audacity to accept an invite to this conference with no plan in place to get better. That's DISGRACEFUL. If we wanted to continue acting like a mid con HL level program why bother stepping up to the big leagues?

Who knows, but GCU has excellent facilities, alot of money and a rowdy/supportive fanbase that has far better attendance numbers than any valley school. Clear step down in conference competition yes, but their OOC is generally great and they offer a whole lot compared to Valpo, and they are starting to turn heads on the recruiting trail too.

Not to rub salt in the wound but Valpo's turf has been very kind to Drake over the last year for recruiting. With the recent addition of Jonah Jackson, the Bulldogs will have five players from NW Indiana in the rotation. I wouldn't be surprised to see a all-region lineup of Roman Penn, DJ, Jonah and the twins on the floor at the same time occasionally.
