I've heard the same. First we don't have enough fans, now we when we do it's a problem that we're not saving additional blocks for opposing fans. Come on now.

It wasn't extra tickets. It was tickets in the first place. I'm not talking about the comp tickets the team gets. Everyone gets those.

I was thinking of going to Chicago in 2 weeks and seeing UNI-Loyola. Will I be able to find tickets?

On the season, UNI is 39.3% from 3. Last night 53%. 17/32 is tough to beat. 39% of 32 attempts would be 12.5/32 for 14 less points. And 56% in the first half.

Certainly I wish we spread some of that shooting % and got a few more in Normal and Carbondale.

There's a reason we shot that well. It wasn't dumb luck. It was shooting wide open 3s all night because MSU couldn't or wouldn't guard us...

It was announced as a sell out earlier this week.

I think they may have a problem defending the 3 point line. When Bradley won at MSU, Bradley went 17-30 from the 3 point line. In the 4 games since, Bradley has attempted 17, 15, 13, and 12 three point shots. Bradley doesn't really want to chuck a bunch of 3's, but it appears MSU gives up wide open 3's.

A little AJ Green gif to brighten your afternoon. We had to hold it for a while while the family of the kid's ankles he destroyed was notified.

I'll say this, they've put themselves in a position where if they get a legit good road win....they're in the discussion.

I don't anticipate beating Drake on the road but if they get that, there's a shot they can set up a game for 1st place in Cedar Falls, which again I don't anticipate winning. This season has been great either way though.

I mean obviously you have to give the edge to UNI Loyola and Bradley on talent alone and I would still rank those all ahead of the Salukis but it's really hard to ignore what they've been able to do with what they have. I remember being really upset when Valpo lost in Carbondale. I don't feel that way anymore at all. I'm hoping we beat them when we play them at home but that is far from a guarantee (We have been good at home though). One thing's for sure, if Mullins can recruit as well as he can coach SIU is in great shape. I hope he has a more aggressive scheduling philosophy than his predecessor because I think he can win some surprise games in short order and get SIU back to where they need to be: as an at large contender.
