On the season, UNI is 39.3% from 3. Last night 53%. 17/32 is tough to beat. 39% of 32 attempts would be 12.5/32 for 14 less points. And 56% in the first half.
Certainly I wish we spread some of that shooting % and got a few more in Normal and Carbondale.
There's a reason we shot that well. It wasn't dumb luck. It was shooting wide open 3s all night because MSU couldn't or wouldn't guard us...
I think they may have a problem defending the 3 point line. When Bradley won at MSU, Bradley went 17-30 from the 3 point line. In the 4 games since, Bradley has attempted 17, 15, 13, and 12 three point shots. Bradley doesn't really want to chuck a bunch of 3's, but it appears MSU gives up wide open 3's.
