None of the Bulldogs played more than 24 minutes. As Drakey mentioned, the game really wasn't as close as the final score.

8 point game at half, so not quite the runaway indicated. Looked like pretty normal rotation with the scrubs getting the last 4 minutes. I thought Drake would be better than many were giving credit before the season, especially after getting their transfer big eligible, but still not sure they are top 4. Everyone forgetting Indiana State.

With Green out at UNI, I think Jake will revert more to traditional UNI offense; still a lot of firepower there , but can they make the change on the fly. I think by season's end, still a contender in StL.

Drake was up 80-51 with 7 minutes left.

Didn't say they weren't able to pull away, but 8 points at half is a competitive game still. Like i said in a different thread, I expected Drake to be competitive this year, too well coached not to be. But there's not a quality game on their schedule until conference, so I don't think we'll know much till then, any losses prior would be a surprise of the bad kind.

Drake is a really hard read right now for me as well. I like what they have but their opponents are a combined 2-9 with a 1 point win over Middle Tennessee (Omaha) and a 4 point win over UMKC (Kansas State...yikes). That said they could definitely be in the mix. Especially with SIU, Indiana State, and Loyola coming off of COVID (who knows how recovery/conditioning long term will affect them) and AJ Green potentially out for the year.

As with everything else this year, it could be a weird one.

I think the only for sure is Evansville finishing a distant 10th...

Pretty sure bet. Just hope your team isn't the one they are playing when experience, and grit, come together.

Yeah, Drake's schedule is incredibly weak. But, what I'm encouraged with is the fact that they're not only winning, but winning easily. All three victories by double digits.

I know Kansas State isn't very good, but Drake won by 10 at their place, despite DU missing a s*** ton of wide open 3s. If the 3s are dropping, that game is a blowout as well.

The game yesterday. Despite leading by "only" 8 at halftime; Drake was in complete control the whole way. Had Drake left the second stringers in til the end, they probably win by 30. As it was, the 3rd string played the last 4 minutes and scored only 2 points the rest of the way. I think the 5 guys out there at the end had a total of about 20 minutes of D1 experience. This team can go 10 deep without much difference between the starters and the reserves.

Good game between Bradley and SDSU, but Bradley loses by 4 at home. Was really impressed with a lot of things from Bradley and especially many of their newcomers, but somehow they still lost. Didn't defend the trey well and paid for it. SDSU is an interesting team; not big, quick or athletic, look like a lot of 30 year old ex players at the gym who were all good in their day and still know how to shoot and ball. All between 6'4 and 6'8 and just keep looking for openings . Not a bad loss for Bradley as far as quality of team they played, but still at home against a lesser conference is tough one.

Bradly's 3-2 zone since 2019 is legendary but yet our coach used it almost non existently and they shot 17-26 from 3. This ones on our caoch. im pissed and drunk but hopefully they learn something. a Summit team comes into our barn and wins. Our league blows
