8 point game at half, so not quite the runaway indicated. Looked like pretty normal rotation with the scrubs getting the last 4 minutes. I thought Drake would be better than many were giving credit before the season, especially after getting their transfer big eligible, but still not sure they are top 4. Everyone forgetting Indiana State.
With Green out at UNI, I think Jake will revert more to traditional UNI offense; still a lot of firepower there , but can they make the change on the fly. I think by season's end, still a contender in StL.

Like i said in a different thread, I expected Drake to be competitive this year, too well coached not to be. But there's not a quality game on their schedule until conference, so I don't think we'll know much till then, any losses prior would be a surprise of the bad kind.

Drake is a really hard read right now for me as well. I like what they have but their opponents are a combined 2-9 with a 1 point win over Middle Tennessee (Omaha) and a 4 point win over UMKC (Kansas State...yikes). That said they could definitely be in the mix. Especially with SIU, Indiana State, and Loyola coming off of COVID (who knows how recovery/conditioning long term will affect them) and AJ Green potentially out for the year.
As with everything else this year, it could be a weird one.

I think the only for sure is Evansville finishing a distant 10th...
