I really wish I could disagree with and debate this post but I can't. I'm tired. This era has worn me down and has given me absolutely nothing to work with. We're pretty much back where we were before Homer breathed life into the program and it looks like we'll need a savior again. Will lightning strike twice? Who knows? But if anyone wonders why I've been a lot less active posting lately this is a big reason why.

Hopefully Valpo gets the next hire right. We like you posting more.

Yes Please let the Bears take the focus off of Valpo's debacle. It would really help the MVC look stronger because our non conference performance hasn't been what I had hoped it would be so far outside of a few really great moments.

Bears looked solid against BYU on the road, but fell essentially at the buzzer 66-64. Arkansas transfer Chance Moore once against let the Bears in scoring, and recorded a double double. Oklahoma transfer guard Alston Mason looks like a player. Bears defense is much improved, they are deep, and athletic. Probably lack consistent shooting from the outside, and many of their horses like Moore are inexperienced.

St Peters transfer Matthew Lee, who had been starting at PG (though not scoring much), went down with a clear knee injury, still waiting to hear a diagnosis but fear the worst. Assume that Alston Mason will slid into that starting role, which wont be a big change since he's been playing starter minutes anyway.

This Murray State vs Texas A&M game is the most physical game I’ve seen in a long time. Good grief. Murray putting up a good fight this first half though.

As of right now, Murray State has two championship caliber skills as a team- effort and shooting. Need to develop more than that if we want to be a challenger come Arch Madness.

Much needed signature win for the Valley. I saw people concerned that Murray might be the new Valpo but not even close. They're gonna come in and be a premier program, maybe from year 1.
