I am pretty sure it was tongue-and-cheek. Like, as Drake fans, I was just hoping Drake would finish in the top half of the league this year when the season started. Never in my wildest preseason dreams did I think Drake would be the #1 seed for Arch madness. I am pretty sure that's his point here.

My point, if I had one, was that it's been an amazing run all season, and it's pretty cool to see a team picked anywhere from 5th to 7th clinch the title with 2 games left to play.

I wasn't in any way trying to say I knew something you all didn't, or that this was a bad pick by the board members.

The most unexpected winners by preseason expectations in MVC history might be:
1) 2008 Drake
2) 2025 Drake

Not sure 2008 Drake will ever be beaten.

I think that everyone on this board knows that Drake was picked to finish 7th and will finish 1st. I don’t think the thread needs to be “bumped” numerous times. We get it Drake is the greatest.
