For some context about the DePaul rebuild -

Isaiah Rivera with 19 points in 22 minutes
Troy D'Amico with 11 points in 26 minutes
Conor Enright with 6 points in 27 minutes
NJ Benson with 9 points in 15 minutes - So Valley players gave DePaul 45 points and 90 minutes of play time.

Valpo is clearly improved from last year but just how much is still open for debate.

I don't know where the Blue Demons will finish in the Big East but my quick take is that their great ball movement and 3 point shooting would put them as a top 5 Valley team.

DePaul might be 7-0 but they've played their last easy game of the year. Will be interesting to see what happens when they start playing actual competition (No offense to Valpo)

DePaul is 63 in NET Rankings I believe.

I am going to stand with my 1 game eyeball test of DePaul. They are greatly improved much of which was brought about by their Valley additions. More specifically I was thinking that their range for end of season rankings might put them somewhere between 85 to 140 and that could place them in our top 5 teams were they a Valley member.

As for the Valpo improvement I'll wait until after Drake- VU game Thursday before jumping in too far.

One more thing to mention to Saluki fans is that All Wright (who you lost to Valpo in your coaching change) is a player who you will wish you had kept.
