Exciting. What game were you watching? That was one of the ugliest games I have ever seen. Congratulations to ISU but if you don't play better tomorrow the Shocks will win by 20.

We lose both our startin and backup centers and a starting point guard that averaged around 30 minutes per game. Thank goodness Colt is coming back with that giant egg he laid tonight. 7 turnovers is just ridiculous.

True, Colt had quite a few turn overs trying to force the action. However Lacy had 5 turnovers, quite a few of which were unforced turnovers. In the last minutes of the game Simmons went with his best players, of which did not include Piet or Lacy. Neither of those two, while from all reports are really good kids, really progressed as one would have hoped. Clint on the other hand progressed through the years and if it wasn't for 2 major knee surgeries would have been a really terrific player.

Congrats trees.

Up 3 and a stupid foul for a 3 point play and a stupid turnover with 7 seconds. That along with 10-18 from the FT line did UE in.

You need to give up your bashing of Ryan. Did he light you up for 40 in some high school game or something? He is without a doubt our best player. He was 2nd team all conference as a sophomore. He was feshman of the year last year. And he will be a first teamer before he is done. 95% of the people that watch and have any basketball IQ can see it.

Too many turnovers....5 by our senior, Lacey! Poor free-throw shooting. Wrong people taking shots, especially last possession. Great defense and hard work by the team, but not much offense. Last possession was horrible, or we wouldn't be going home.....what a shame to end the game with that possession!

Congrats to Indiana State. Wish it could have been our team playing tomorrow, but once again, we are one and done. Good luck Trees!

I love fans. But sometimes we should resist the urge to blog until 24 hours after a loss. Who watched the Illinois State game? Who wondered if Colt would be healthy enough for Friday's game? I wonder how his shooting wrist is doing? Why was he not taking as many threes? Why was he penetrating instead? I wonder what some of you would have said if he jacked 18 3s and later you would have learned his shooting hand may have been injured. It was obvious to me why he was driving the ball and dishing.
There is no difference between basketball and life. Give both your best and ignore the "fans" on the sideline.

How did going without PVT and Kavon work out? I highly doubt if Odum would have taken Lacey so easily to the lane for the game winner. I guess having Lacey out at the end goes back to poor coaching. Why do you give Clint a pass for his knee surgeries and not Lacey?

You're right I'm the only one that doesn't see it. Well, me and about 99.9% of all D1 coaches that never offered Ryan. Weren't the Aces his only D1 offer when he signed? About any D1 player could put up Ryan's numbers if they were given the minutes and picks Ryan gets.
