I don't see it happening but one can never know. Air Force came out of nowhere in 2006 and got in. They hadn't even scheduled a viewing party for their team. We all know why they got in but maybe we can the favor returned this year...But being Lunardi's first four out means we are actually on the bubble, again

When AirForce got in their coach was buddy-buddy (used to work for, I believe) the chairman of the selection committee that year.

Yesterday heard that Bears were in on 38/81 bracket scenarios, so chances may be close to 50/50 still that they get in.

There is no chance the Bears get in. Trust me, I'd love for the MVC to get a second team, but what have they done to dance? Winning a weak league? No quality out of conference wins? Getting hammered by Valpo on national TV in a bracket buster game?

Sorry Bears. Your ship has sailed.

Here is the updated NIT bracketology. Doesn't look good for the Bears to get in the NCAA Tourney if they are a 4 seed in the NIT.

This person also has USC as the overall #1 and WSU as a #3.

If Lunardi has them out already before a majority of the conference tourneys have been played, there is really no chance. That's because there will be upsets and teams getting in who aren't suppose to get in which will further knock them out.

I like VCU to get in as the 3rd team out of the CAA way before MSU. That CAA championship game was intense.

Probably about the same as WSU's. Considering the predominantly agricultural geography of the Valley, it may as well be the Hay Seed.

Crazier things have happened. We didn't deserve a bid in 1999 and Air Force came out of nowhere in 2006. I wouldn't say "no chance" is all

Missouri State officials talked with NIT today and was told they would be guaranteed either a 1 or 2 seed.

Still hope the ncaa gives the bears a call. If not, bring that nit trophy home to the valley. They'll be a tough out.
