So it is looking more and more like Evansville is the team in that round robin.
Schedules are starting to look very nice next year. The valley will have it's chances. Even though we (redbirds) have Rutgers and then the winner or loser of Richmond/Illinois, it looks like we might still have the weakest non-con so far.
Not if Butler is the Horizon league team...UE already has them on their schedule to open their new stadium
good point, but there is also the chance that Butler was folded into the mix. It sounds like this round robin isn't at a neutral location, but rather teams are guaranteed so many home/away games if they are a part of it. Since Butler is scheduled to open up the new stadium, this might even suggest that if UE is in fact a part of it, then Butler almost has to be a part of it as well, since this would occur at the start of the non-con around thanksgiving.
SIU-E for example was on contract to play at ISU this year. This game was folded into the Cancun Challenge as SIU-E will be heading to Cancun as well, but playing in the other division (opposite of ISU, Rutgers, Richmond and Illinois). There are two tournament champions for the cancun challenge.
