According to bradleyfans.com they are playing in the Chicago Invitiation next year which includes......Nevada, BYU, and Wisconsin over thanksgiving.

So it is looking more and more like Evansville is the team in that round robin.

Schedules are starting to look very nice next year. The valley will have it's chances. Even though we (redbirds) have Rutgers and then the winner or loser of Richmond/Illinois, it looks like we might still have the weakest non-con so far.

Not if Butler is the Horizon league team...UE already has them on their schedule to open their new stadium

good point, but there is also the chance that Butler was folded into the mix. It sounds like this round robin isn't at a neutral location, but rather teams are guaranteed so many home/away games if they are a part of it. Since Butler is scheduled to open up the new stadium, this might even suggest that if UE is in fact a part of it, then Butler almost has to be a part of it as well, since this would occur at the start of the non-con around thanksgiving.

SIU-E for example was on contract to play at ISU this year. This game was folded into the Cancun Challenge as SIU-E will be heading to Cancun as well, but playing in the other division (opposite of ISU, Rutgers, Richmond and Illinois). There are two tournament champions for the cancun challenge.

According to this Michigan State post, the tournament would run between Nov. 15 - 26. It could be that the Aces game with Butler could still be folded in even if it's on the 12th.

"Need one or two teams to fill a 5-team, 4-game, round-robin exempt tournament scheduled Nov 15-26. Multiple options now available. You could get 1, 2 or 3 home games, and 3, 2 or 1 road games to total 4 games. Money involved depending on how many road/home games you'd play. Please contact if interested - worth your while if you don't already have an exempt."

The post previous to this said it was Mich St., a MVC, MAC, Horizon and 1 more that they were looking for.

I've updated the projected MVC non-conference schedules on White & Blue Review:

http://whiteandbluereview.com/?page_id=293#schedule

Including the likely matchups for Drake in the Paradise Jam (they do their matchups based on last year RPI) and that Missouri State is opening @ Nevada.

Also the Vegas tourney for Missouri State has West Virginia and two TBA. What I do know is that the other two big teams filling out the field are an SEC team and a PAC-10/12 team. At this point the teams available to fill these spots from the SEC are Arkansas, Vanderbilt and the PAC 10/12 Oregon, Oregon State, Stanford, Washington. Start your speculation.

Are there are more dates or opponents to add anywhere that I am missing?

For UNI the rumor coming out the ODU and UNI departments is that that game will be the first game of the season, sometime between Nov 10 and 14, most likely the 12th.

The Iowa game typically happens that first Wednesday, give or take a day or two, of December, so it is looking like the 7th this year.

I have seen two different dates for our game against Fresno St. One is the 12th as you mention on the site. This came from the MWC release, but the MVC and ISU release says we are playing them on Dec. 3rd when the rest of the challenge is happening (which I think makes the most sense).

As a side note: I think the Fresno game was set up to be a shot at the WCC for not letting Fresno St. go to the MWC right away without paying those huge fines. It is a one and done, but in return I guess ISU was promised a home game in the challenge the following season. Kind of surprised that the Salukis weren't approached by Nevada to play at this time as well.
