That really sucks for WSU. Toughest region by far. I hope they make it back to the F4 just to shut up Gottlieb and the other idiots. It'll be tough but they are capable of doing it.

As WSU has shown by past performance -being in a hostile environment doesn't bother WSU.

Why? after the first game you are going to have to play tough teams that can beat you. This is what this WSU teams thrives to play - games that mean something. You can't fear the mountain you are about to climb, but embrace it. Kentucky has alot of warts.

WSU can beat KY. With one hand behind them. Louisville has been playing pretty good lately. If they get by them then it might be Mich. they can win the games but of the #1 seeds they do have the toughest games. Hope you win it all.

Welp ... here we go.

I'd argue that the Midwest has the best 3 seed, best 4 seed, best 8 seed, and second best 9 seed.

I'd rather have been a 2 seed in the Midwest. I think Creighton also has an easier path as a 3 seed. Although I think Creighton is definitely an upset possibility against Baylor.

This is going to be a fun tournament. No worries about matching up against the smaller teams and getting crapped on. It's going to be name team after name team.

The only one that bothers me is Louisville. They should have been a 2/3 seed, and there is no doubt that Pitino will take WSU seriously. But we probably should have beaten them last year, and we're better now, so I'm not scared of that game ... I just wish it was an Elite 8 game instead of Sweet 16.

Random tangent: look at the seeds the American teams got. Louisville (4), Cincy (5), UConn (7), Memphis (9), SMU (lol). And the committee basically said about as harsh as they possibly can that the bottom half of that conference screwed over the top half.

Something to file away in the future if you want to talk Wichita and conference realignment. AAC needs to do something.

Mr. AsianSensation I was wondering how you bracketology turned out compared to the final picks?

What surprised you the most?

It's NC State being in, by a million miles. That was a terrible, terrible selection. And everyone missed that one. I got the other 67 teams right, but so did basically everyone else.

I'm more curious to break down the seedings. I think I'm off in a few spots and right on in a few others. I'm calling my performance "average" this year.

Do you guys traditionally hold a pick 'em on this site? I was considering starting one, but didn't want to interrupt any site rituals.
