Yet they lead to the same results.
So I ask you, other than charisma what is the difference?

I keep trying to remember something that Barry won. A banner, or a title, or an NCAA bid, or something. I must just be getting old.
Face it: most of you LOVED Barry because (a) he made you giggle in his pressers, and (b) MSU was absolutely no threat to accomplish anything of note while he was there. If you like him so much, hire him. You'd think that if he were so wronged, and he were such a good coach, he'd be doing more for the past few years than getting Bill Self's coffee. But I guess you're right, and the rest of the basketball world is wrong.

Missouri State doesn't need to pay a million a year, but they better pay enough to make a coach feel comfortable staying. And when you only pay in the 20%-30% range of your league, expecting a coach to always win makes him look for the next train out. When Missouri State started flashing $600,000, Cuonzo knew that was all the better it would ever get. And he also knew how fast the fans could turn.
But like you said, if you guys are happy with the three or four years and out, have at it. Some of your coaches through the revoving door will be utter flops.

So far we have two things listed for Cuonzo that Barry didn't do
1. Have charisma
2. Win the MVC in the worst/most down season in probably 15 years.
So charisma and having the least crappy team in the regular season in a very crappy MVC season.
This years MSU team would have been 5th or 6th in most of the years Barry coached.
I still see no real difference between the two.
