Doug McDermott invited to tryout for USA u-19 team

Really good showing for Doug. When he was invited, I thought he was good enough but would struggle to find a role with all top athletes around him. So I was very pleasantly surprised by what he brought to the team, both in scoring and in rebounding.

3rd on the team in scoring at 11.5 ppg.
3rd on the team in rebounding at 6.1 rbg,
1st on the team in 3 pt shooting at .394
3rd on the team in FG% .506 (but took about twice as many shots as the two leaders)

This is the kind of experience that will really pay dividends in the future, especially in tournament and late season games when things get physical and the pressure is on.
