Seriously, replacing the Mtn West with the Horizon league, just so you have a one in ten chance of playing Butler? Good grief.

100% agree.

How somebody could actually believe that the Horizon is not only on par, but BETTER than the Mountain West as a whole is absolutely ABSURD.

The Horizon barely qualifies as a Top 15 conference year in and year out.

Some of these posts are absolutely mind-boggling. :Bam:

Wow....do you realize what a Sycamore fan has done? He has put WSUbballer and Doublejayalum on the same side of an argument.

That is Nobel Peace Prize kind of stuff.

Now all we need is the second coming of Matty P. to Omaha, and Harold Camping will be vindicated...

The past couple of years I actually rooted for Indiana State. I can promise you that will not be the case this year. I don't think UNI fans were ever this bad and we actually won titles and NCAA games.

First, the Horizon is normally a top 15 conference. Only once in the last 8 years have they not been. Now, with that said, they are not on par with the others mentioned. In the last 8 years, the average conference finish of the Horizon has been 13.75 with only one year above 15. The MWC averages to be 7.5 with only one year above 10. That one year equals the Horizons best. For reference, the Valley average is 8.63 and CUSA is 9.75

....what do you think the bracketbusters are for.....

If valley teams could try and schedule at least one game against each of those conferences, I think we would be better off for it.

But better off only if we win those games.......

sure, but you have to win to get in regardless. If we don't beat those teams, then we clearly don't deserve the extra bids wouldn't you say?

Impossible, MSU fans and a few WSU fans are positive that the CUSA is a much superior league.
