You WSU fans that are using this as your leg to stand on look about as silly as your coach did last weekend.

Did he come out and specifically say "the refs screwed us", or "the MVC conspired against us to cost us the game". No.

But anyone with a few brain cells can clearly see the meaning of his words. "The MVC got what they wanted". "I like our chances on a 'neutral' court". "I saw some 'strange' things today". All of that coupled with him supposedly exchanging words with the commish and barging into his presser, ridicule of your coach's actions is warranted.

Refresh me on how many regular season Valley titles McDermott has?
I think that Marshall is a helluva recruiter, but his "winning" at WSU is pretty overrated IMO. I could make just as strong of a case that Marshall underachieves, based on talent, more than he overachieves or even lives up to expectations.
You're kidding right? His winning is overrated? An average of 22 wins per year over five years, and 27 over the last three seasons. That is assuming no more wins this season. Come on!

Come on man. Everyone can read between the lines. You don't say things like "i saw some weird things out there today" and "i look forward to playing a neutral court".

Marshall made his point. How about of an apologist do you have to be not to read between those lines? Seriously?

I still haven't seen it and yet you sanctimonious d bags keep spouting off like mother Theresa reincarnated.

It's talk like this that will ruin this board. Make your point without the name calling or take it some where else man. I am not a moderator, but I wish one would step in and cut this stuff out. There is no place for it.

So you're saying he never said it. Thanks for clarifying.

Dude...get a clue! :Bam: He CAN'T come right out and say it...but everyone and their moronic friends knew what the hell he was getting at.

I saw some strange things today on this message board. I can't wait to get to a neutral message board. I like my chances. Are you worried? You shouldn't be worried. I'm not worried. Sleep well tonight.

I guess I didn’t post well enough for the circumstances.

Doesn’t seem like they want to comprehend too much.

I hear some strange things from Wichita. I don’t know, I hear strange things from there. Pretty tough to post when you hear the strange things like I heard today.

I look forward to posting on an educated board. I like my chances.

I’ve got to get my words up. I’ve got to write better. Hopefully get break or two.

I didn’t post well enough to overcome what I needed to overcome today.

At least you acknowledge your shortcomings.

Overrated? Wow. It's guys like you that somehow put out there that WSU should win almost every game or they are underachieving.

Creighton CERTAINLY underachieved this season. And when did only Valley seasons come into play? I asked you how many titles does McD have at other conferences as well. He's been in the Big12, the Valley before, and somewhere before that. How many titles?

Per usual, you ignore the question, and try to spin something into your little box of contrived truths. Just like a lawyer. Nice try.

How many? Then I'll give you Gregg's. Like I said, Gregg's resume DUSTS McD's.

And you CAN'T make "just as strong of a case that Marshall underachieves" based on ANYTHING, unless you use lies.

Your perception of his success is based mostly on the fact you don't like him or WSU.

I, on the other hand, can evaluate records based on facts, not whether or not I like the guy, or how he acts.

in seriousness, I watch the presser. Marshall isn't a raving lunatic and he does give Il St some credit.

If he hadn't used the neutral floor comment (or gotten in screaming matches with MVC officials) you might be able to see this as a coach dealing with a loss and just unhappy with officiating.

If Marshall didn't intend the comments to challenge the conference's integrity he could have stated that in his apology. Lots of coaches blow up at officials after tough losses. Stuff happens. You apologize and move on. Clearly he doesn't really care and still holds a grudge. Totally his prerogative and pretty fun to watch.

Please WSU fans don't pretend to be naive. I know you guys aren't dumb.

Media day and pressers next year will be fun. I can see some media types trying to push Greggles a bit. Nothing drives traffics/sells papers like controversy.
