Yep, looks like Louisville in the first round, VCU/Memphis in the second round, Missouri/Stanford, Duke/Minnesota on the other side of the bracket.

As far as I can tell, this pretty much completes UNI's schedule this year.

-@ UNLV (MWC-MVC challenge)
-Home against St Marys
-Neutral against Iowa (in Des Moines)
-@ George Mason
-Home against Milwaukee
-Home against Toledo
-Louisville @atlantis, winner/loser of Mizzou/Stanford, +1 more game

Only three non-con home games?!?! That would piss me off.

That only adds up to nine non-con games. Gotta think there are a couple cupcake homies still to be announced.

Yeah, that's not the whole schedule. I only listed the notable games.

D3 Buena Vista at home also, and probably a low major or two. Aren't we still doing a series with North Dakota?

Correction on B4A, we do play Louisville first, but then it's the winner or loser of Missouri/Stanford with Duke, Minnesota, VCU, and Memphis on the other side of the bracket. If we can't beat Louisville --- and lets face it, that's a monumental task ---- we have a winable game against a BCS school in the second round.

The Louisville game will be 11/22 8:30pm on NBCSports.

UNI needs to get at LEAST one win out of this tournament. I'm confident we can, but an 0-3 record even against good teams could kill NCAA at large chances for a mid major.

If UNI goes 0-3 it WILL kill any at large chance.

0-3 would obviously be bad, but I don't think it "kills" an at large chance. SOS will be through the roof and still oportunities for good non-conference wins against Iowa in Des Moines, St. Mary's at home, UNLV and George Mason on the road. Win most of those, finish in the top 3 of the conference, and UNI is at least in the discussion. Do that and win a game or two in Atlantis and it gets a whole lot easier.

Obviously UNI is perfectly capable of accomplishing none of the above as well. Atlantis is really important, but three losses against amazing competition doesn't automatically destroy a season.

***EDITED FOR DJA ACCURACY***

No it will not. Losing to teams like Louisville, Mizzou, and Duke (OR MEMPHIS, MINNESOTA, or VCU) is not going to kill your season. Beating those teams would be a huge boost, however.

UNI has plenty of other chances to pick up good resume wins outside this tournament with George Mason, Iowa, St Marys, and UNLV.
