That's fair, just worth pointing out it gets late early out there ;)

Tough one to lose. What we saw, however, is that the Trees can be awfully damn good. Just need to put this one behind them now.

It's not like this was a bad loss. It's just the way it was lost that made it horrible. You have to protect a 16 point lead in the second half.

Could have been a nice road win for the Valley. Sucks. Still early, but the margin just got thinner for the Valley, perception wise.

We saw that last year as well. The question is, can they be consistent enough for it to matter?

they made adjustments, we didn't and the result is an embarrassing collapse from ISU

I don't understand why fans feel the need to apologize to other fans for something their team did.

"Looked" being the key word when Odum is involved. I kid, I kid (but not really). ;)

You wouldn't understand since you don't give a crap about the Valley non-con outside of what SIU is doing. Just saying.

That was a great prediction for Belmont's second half.

No, why apologize for something you had nothing to so with. If you are on the team great, apologize people would accept it. If your kid is responsible for the loss come here and apologize for him, that makes a little sense. I get equally annoyed when a QB passes for 350 yards and 4 touchdowns but the team loses 38-35 and he apologizes to the fans, not your fault, quit apologizing.

I am a SLU alum, I read the Billiken board quite often though I quit posting there a while back. After their home game the other night, some douche came on the board and apologized for the student section not having enough energy in the game. I was embarrassed for him, all I could think is what a pathetic loser this guy is. I am not saying that about the ISU fan, I am just saying I don't get it.
