Didn't Ali say this exact same thing? Great originality!
When's the last time Illinois State even won an NCAA Tournament game?

What does UNI or ISU's performance in St. Louis the past few years have to do with the fact WSU hasn't ever won the championship there or how many bids the MVC will get this year?

I have to give credit to Ali and Redbird23 for ignoring your Red Herrings.

This is why people have legitimate complaints about you on this board.

It's hard to believe from reading this thread but it is only December 5th and every MVC team is tied for 1st. Shocker fans may think this is a one-bid league but the only games they have any control over are their own. And you never know when that cloud will form over your early celebration, That cloud called injuries.

So as of now, who has the resume in your opinion to warrant thinking about an at large bid besides WSU? We are all tied for first in conference, but that isn't the only part of the season the selection committee looks at.

The last two bid predictions haven't even been from Shocker fans. Anyone in their right mind can see that Wichita State is likely to be the only team to receive an at-large bid. Go over to RPIforecast.com and see what would be required of each school for them to have an RPI realistically deserving of a bid.

How does WSU's past affect this year's Valley bid situation? It doesn't. It has no bearing. If you're going to look for red herrings, maybe you should start from the top, instead of always worrying about how a specific poster posts.

One wonders if you even read my comment. If I don't think you can predict at-large bids on December 5th, it would be pretty ignorant and/or arrogant of me to think I could do it. Ask me again on February 5th.

You may not be able to predict at large on December 5th but you can eliminate some teams in the valley already at this point

OK, I'll eliminate SIU but if they win all their games between now and February 5th, I'll un-eliminate them.
