The picture is getting clearer and clearer.... this Redbird team is going to be super deep.

Hopefully we can finally seal the deal. Thank God we wont have Wichita bringing our RPI down this year while trying to get an at-large...

Once the original N'Dyiaye didn't pan out that made Matt Hein expendable. He was only at ISU to get David N'Dyiaye.

I highly doubt David leaving made Dan force Hein to give up his scholarship. I think this came from the Hein's family.

Tribe, you are right about the original reason Hein was brought to ISU. He is just that working-hard lunch pale guy that will have a big assist, or bucket followed by 2 or 3 turnovers or a blown defensive assignment. I'd be surprised If he sees the same type of minutes next season as he did last season.

It was honorable of Matt to give up his scholarship, which he was not forced to do. He does come from a LOT of money, basically lives in a Florida mansion. But still, to pay for something that could have been free is a nice thing to do.

Thank you Matt Hein for allowing the Birds to sign Keith Fisher III.

It used to really infuriate Shocker fans when Mark Adams would spout off that the
Birds have the most talented roster in the MVC 1-12. Now I don't believe there is any doubt.

According to DM: “This will be the most really good players I’ve ever had here.”

Christian Romine is off the new roster. With Gassman paying his way this year also, schollies are where they need to be.

I imagine there's a few who might dispute that. Not saying it might not be , just saying it's not so cut& dried. I think it will be very competitive at the top of the league this year. It's a very deep and good roster, but so is Loyola and SIU. And there are always surprises.

San Jose State East has the greatest Valley roster ever assembled and anyone who doesn't vote them #1 next year should get their press credentials yanked.

Gotta love the lawyer being so petty. Remind me to NEVER use your services (not that I would need it).

Innocent until proven guilty? Not for Mikovio when it involves a Redbird.
