I'm going to guess that they got some good news regarding one or more of the SJSU transfers. That or N'Diaye is somehow eligible but I think that's unlikely.

All 14 players for Drake scored. I think the last 8-10 minutes, Bulldogs had at least 3 walk-ons on the court at all times.

The Redbirds took down No.3 D3 team in the country 82-74. The game was never really in question like the final score indicates.

Phil Fayne proved once more that a lot of the offense will run through him. He finished with a team-high 23 points on 11-13 shooting in 27 minutes. The Redbirds shot selection was overall very good finishing just shy of 60% from the floor. Jr. Zach Copeland also seemed to settle in scoring 17. Yarbrough scored 16 in his first action of the season.

Auggie has a very good team. They made 12 3-pointers and at least 5-7 of them were with a hand in their face. I would be surprised if they are not in the D3 final four.

The Birds showed flashes of the team the were last year... in a bad way. At times, they were careless with the ball (19 turnovers) and got up 17 and completely let off the gas.

The good news for the Redbirds should be announced before the 6 p.m. game tomorrow. Hopefully sooner :D
