Hopefully we only have to listen to that broadcast crew on espn+ that did the game from Evansville once. It had to be the worst I've heard.

January 2nd

Illinois State at Valpo ----- Ill St --- Can't trust Valpo yet
Drake at Evansville --- Drake ----Can't trust Evansville yet
UNI at Bradley --- Bradley --- UNI starts MVC play slow lately
Missouri State at Southern Illinois --- SIU ---- coin flip
Indiana State at Loyola --- Loyola --- Tight game but Loyola wants to defend title

Well I guess I cannot trust myself making picks. Slow start!

As mentioned before it will be a crazy season.

Missouri State at Southern Illinois CORRECT
Indiana State at Loyola CORRECT

January 5th

Valpo at Missouri State The home team wins in the battle to not finish last in the MVC
Bradley at Indiana State Indiana State recovers from Loyola to win at home
Loyola at Drake Drake maintains their surprising start at home.
Evansville at Illinois State. Better OCC schedule and at home = win
Southern Illinois at UNI. SIU. 3 of their 6 losses were to Top 25 teams.

Started out the predictions 2-3, not a great start. Let’s hope to get above .500 on Saturday.

That will be true if that is the only UE home game that you watch this year on ESPN+. What was so bad with the crew? Yes Peach did his best homer calls late in the game. Yes Wilson isn't the smoothest color broadcaster. But both broadcaster brought a lot of insight into the game and Wilson (a former MVC MVP) was spot on with his analysis late in the game.
I am waiting with bated breath to hear how impartial the Drake broadcasters will be when the 2 teams meet again in Des Moines.

Had Drake won, he probably wouldn't have thought it was that bad.

Imagine Valpo UNI and Evansville all starting out at 2-0 if they can win again on Saturday....I mean how would we react?

It looks like a fair number of people would commit suicide.

Possibly a lot of fans looking for a bridge to jump off of? Or Armageddon? Zombie apocalypse? Definitely a lot of screaming and yelling and huffing and puffing going on.

I signed up for the 7 day free trial on ESPN+ yesterday. After listening to the Aces announcers, I don't think I can stand paying for that. I am just fine listening to Jevin Redman on the radio for free.
