I don't think you get my point. Adding 12+11+11+10+9+9+8+7+6+6=89 wins and in 90 games you need a winner and loser for both. Same with your loss column that my calculator totals to 91.

NET is going to be a mess. Bradley has a higher NET than UNI. UNI's non-con SoS is in the top 10. Bradley is 323. I don't get NET.

UNI has a terrible road record that kills their NET. Even though UNI played a tougher schedule, they have the same amount of Q1/Q2 wins as Bradley.

Bradly has better Q3 record. UNI pretty much only beats Q4 teams.

One of the problems with RPI was it rewarded teams who played tough non-conference schedules but didn't penalize them if they lost them. NET rewards teams that play tough schedules and win. NET also rewards teams that win on the road.

Or they could release the formula so that it wasn't an absolute guessing game as to what goes into it.

You would have thought the NCAA learned their lesson the with the College Baseball RPI in the 90's when they tried to keep their exact formula with it secret factors hidden. The rankings with the raw data got leaked and people were quickly able to reverse engineer the ratings.

The same thing will happen here. There are already people working on reverse engineering the NET. By next year I bet you will see NETforecast.

Better chance for Missouri State to get a top 2 seed than it is to play on Thursday... I like it!

I want to know the one scenario where Evansville wins the conference. That's like Avenger's End Game math!

Based on this graph, everyone still has a chance to win the conference!

These are great. I ran a few more simulations and just hit two options for Evansville to get the #1 seed.
*Option 1 results in a 4 way tie for 1st at 10-8 between Drake, Evansville, Loyola, and Missouri State. Evansville wins the mini round robin with 5 wins, Drake has 3 wins, Loyola and MSU each 2 wins.
*Option 2 results in a 5 way tie for 1st at 10-8 between Drake, Evansville, Loyola, Missouri State, and Southern Illinois. Evansville wins the mini round robin with 6 wins, Loyola and SIU each have 4 wins, Drake and MSU each with 3 wins.

This has been one crazy season in the Valley, but it hasn't been that crazy.
