Every bracketologist I have seen has said something to the effect of it will take hell freezing over for the Valley to get 2 bids to the NCAA.

From the Drake perspective, if we can't win Arch Madness I want an NIT bid. Unfortunately, the way things have gone in recent years I'm not counting on anything. I want that regular season title. If current standings hold the game in Peoria on Feb. 26 between Drake and Bradley will guarantee the winner a post-season opportunity, whether that be NCAA (winning Arch Madness) or NIT (losing Arch Madness).

Personally, I'm ready to pass on the CBI. It's only in Daytona Beach again and I don't think we will gain anything this year by doing it.

If Bradley and Drake win out (minus loser in Peoria), and both make it to the title game, I would have to think the loser of the game in St. Louis has to have at least a 50/50 shot of making the NIT, even if that loser is not the auto NIT bid for regular season title.
