I was in a socially distanced Mackey Arena for that one. Never have I been so excited for someone who wasn't my team winning.

There was more Drake Blue than Shocker Yellow at that one too, which was surprising given the Sea of Yellow every year in STL.

Yellow/Blue were most reliable. Good contingent of Red (BU), Purple, and Maroon iir (SIU/MoSt). Never got to experience those days in person.

It's sounding like the Birds bought WIU to come to Normal last year, so no return game to Macomb. EIU is coming to Normal, likely to open the season on Nov 6.

Also hearing of a VERY NICE P5 buy game that has yet to be announced.

Pedon reports 6 home games including a buy game vs SEMO and a yet to be announced D2 opponent. He says 2 road games which would be SLU and this P5 buy, so no Chicago State game thank goodness.

Rumors continue to swirl about potentially having an exhibition against in-town D3, Illinois Wesleyan.

Only two road games but they're tough ones. The MTE is a solid MM tournament.

This schedule suggests there will be two conference games the week of 11/27- 12/2.
