Just trying to stop you from looking stupid in public.

Stupid is all you. I'm actually making valid points based on actual events. You are all triggered and offended by the truth. That's on you.

Anyone who has coached for 5 min knows that sometimes there are teachable moments that pay long lasting dividends
You’ve never coached a min in your life and it shows

The Administration hamstrung us for a long time and it is making everyone who ever gave a rip bat*hit crazy.

(The Administration was upset that a bunch of nerds weren’t getting the spotlight they thought they deserved so they decided to “knock the jocks down a peg” for about 2 decades.

Evansville was on track to be Gonzaga before Gonzaga, but the Plane crash and a bunch of low testosterone cucks ruined it (it still could have been if they would have supported in in the early 90’s) It’s making us all pull out our hair.

LOL. Where was Evansville going to get the unlimited money from?

I wouldn’t expect anyone to know this outside of Evansville so your ignorance is excused; but in the 60’s, the Aces were rolling up NC’s and beat Wooden’s UCLA teams. In the 90’s the Aces were Top 10 in the Nation in Attendance, and was routinely beating their rivals Xavier, DePaul and Butler (these guys by a lot) who are in the Big East obviously now.
Believe it or not, Evansville was primed to be the Gonzaga before the plane crash (half the details of We Are Marshall are from UE not Marshall btw) and a turbo nerd Admin flushed the momentum, bc I guess they had been shoved in a locker at some point by an athlete. It’s all inexcusable and a “How not to” in retrospect.

The other Gonzaga is certainly a stretch, but a program that was selling 10K+ tickets a night with somewhat regular tournament appearances should have been in a position to maintain a level of competitiveness. The level of incompetence it took to destroy that is simply incomprehensible. The good news is all those clowns responsible are long gone.

I am curious what the other fans opinion is of the incident that is being debated. Based on what we know with the interaction between Hafner and Ragland, did Ragland do the right thing benching him during the last 15 minutes of a winnable home conference game? Obviously those of us who were vested in the outcome of the game have our opinions, but there are times lessons need to be learned. Like 44 said, there didn't appear to be any residual damage on either side for the Illinois State game.

Of course there are lessons to learned but Coach picked a horrible time for that one. That one is the type of thing that drives away players and keeps recruits looking elsewhere. It wasn't necessary or good. Right now, the team only has 3 MVC-ready guards. We can't afford to punish them during the 2nd half of a winnable game and we can't afford to drive away players.

What era are you stuck in? Bobby Knight 1970s? You might want to move on from 50 years ago.

They literally won the next game and Cam played great.
Your rant is hysterical.

They literally lost the game in question at home against an MVC opponent. An opponent that they are 1-16 against over the last several years. A winnable game that winning would have done much more for the confidence of the players, including the one in question, than benching the player and losing the game. When it comes time to positioning for the MVC tourney that home loss is probably going to be huge.

In case you haven't been watching, Haffner has been having a great year before the Illinois State game. Much better than last year. Your weird rant against me is what is hysterical.
