Where is the league office on this?
This is what Murray State is saying on their website:
As you know, we experienced an unprecedented weather system that has impacted our campus, region and state, including a lightning strike on Saturday morning that has disrupted power to campus.
Full electrical power has been restored to the campus with the exception of the CFSB Center, Wellness Center, RH White Hall and Regents Hall. Contractors are continuing to work on the restoration of full power, due to the lightning strike, to these buildings. Residents of RH White and Regents Halls will be contacted by Housing staff regarding temporary relocation.
Classes will be canceled on Monday, February 17. This includes both in-person instruction and online instruction as well as all of our regional campuses..................We anticipate returning to full campus operations including classes on Tuesday, February 18........Following the lightning strike that was the cause of the power outage early Saturday morning, crews, contractors and University personnel have worked around the clock, beginning Saturday morning. This occurred throughout heavy rains and severe weather activity, including tornado warnings and hail.
Sounds like a mother nature event that no one had any control over. I don't disagree with the idea of playing the game in Nashville especially with UNI playing Belmont on Wednesday. Obviously there will be a rest disparity but isn't there always on Quarterfinal Friday of Arch Madness?
