UNI has a path to a regular season title and it's completely unfair to have to play a condensed schedule.

Game will be played tomorrow (Monday) at Belmont

On local radios but no TV broadcast

It’ll be interesting whether Belmont fans going to the game root for UNI against their rival Murray even though it’s against their self-interest as they’re chasing UNI for the 3-seed.

I’ll monitor the Belmont board to get a pulse on their strategy.

BCPanther"]This has to be a forfeit.

UNI has a path to a regular season title and it's completely unfair to have to play a condensed schedule.

“Statistical Applications
No participating teams may be awarded wins or losses. Since no competition actually takes place under the “No Contest” declaration, there are no player or team statistics to record. The team’s overall won-lost record, as well as the head coach’s season and career won-lost record, is NOT affected by a “No Contest” declaration.
EXCEPTION: In circumstances involving institutions from the same conference, the league office has the option to declare a forfeit win and loss for CONFERENCE-STANDING PURPOSES ONLY, but this does not change the overall won-lost record for either institution. Thus, it is possible for a team to have more conference losses than overall losses.”

Wonder what they think...

Bennett Stirtz will win the league POY - rightfully so - but he has a really hard time dealing with Bradley’s Christian Davis. Davis guards him better than anyone in the league by far.

Where is the league office on this?

This is what Murray State is saying on their website:

As you know, we experienced an unprecedented weather system that has impacted our campus, region and state, including a lightning strike on Saturday morning that has disrupted power to campus.

Full electrical power has been restored to the campus with the exception of the CFSB Center, Wellness Center, RH White Hall and Regents Hall. Contractors are continuing to work on the restoration of full power, due to the lightning strike, to these buildings. Residents of RH White and Regents Halls will be contacted by Housing staff regarding temporary relocation.

Classes will be canceled on Monday, February 17. This includes both in-person instruction and online instruction as well as all of our regional campuses..................We anticipate returning to full campus operations including classes on Tuesday, February 18........Following the lightning strike that was the cause of the power outage early Saturday morning, crews, contractors and University personnel have worked around the clock, beginning Saturday morning. This occurred throughout heavy rains and severe weather activity, including tornado warnings and hail.

Sounds like a mother nature event that no one had any control over. I don't disagree with the idea of playing the game in Nashville especially with UNI playing Belmont on Wednesday. Obviously there will be a rest disparity but isn't there always on Quarterfinal Friday of Arch Madness?

Has there been a better dunk in the league this year than this one?

Officiating was horrible in Evansville lastnight.I felt sorry for Valpos coach as he got tossed with about 1 minute left in game. Our player Cuff literally knocked a Valpo player out of bounds going for a loose ball and no foul was called. After a couple of F bombs he was tossed.

Two things:

1) There was power at the arena. UNI had a shootaround with no issues.

2) The Friday Quarterfinal is an EARNED advantage.
