You can't start the 2nd half 0-13 and think you are going to win the game. We somehow hung in there and gave ourselves a shot only to crap it away. Trees are to be applaud for their defense though as it took us out of our groove. Thought we got the benefit of some calls in the quarters and semi's and thought it went against us today, but that is college basketball.

Now, we hope beyond hope that we some how find ourselves in the Dance. In 1999 we found ourselves with an at-large bid because of a certain former All-Big Ten player as our coach, can it happen again?

The Terre Haute newspaper said:

"Kyle Weems, the conference player of the year, was held to 11 points on 3-for-16 shooting and got his last basket came with 11:12 to go in the first half."

His chest pumping and demonstrative attention-getting antics are sometime over-board. I wish he would act like he had been there before when he dunks, blocks a shot, or makes a play.

Yeah, because no other player has ever played with emotion. So he chest bumped some. So what? What did it hurt? Who did it hurt? Doesn't make him any less of a player and I really don't think he cares what fans from other schools think of him. Any and every other fan on this website would take him on their team in a heartbeat with his so called "antics"

Ok there are alot of players and teams I dont care for in this conference. I would never act like i was happy because a played cried after a loss...When I see that happen and think "HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA" i really think what if that was my friend or my son, after a loss. I would just say I commend Creekmore for his passion for the game, that is commendable...the young man just went thru a tough time for any man. I wish the best for him.
